Description

Coremat 4mm – 39.37″ Width is a flexible nonwoven polyester core material designed for fiberglass and composite laminates. Its conformable construction allows it to follow curved and shaped surfaces while providing a fast and efficient way to build laminate thickness. Coremat can be used as both a core material and print blocker, helping increase laminate stiffness while reducing reinforcement pattern print-through on finished surfaces.

With a thickness of 4mm (approximately 0.157″) and a width of 39.37″ (1 meter), this Coremat is well suited for applications requiring more substantial laminate buildup. It is commonly used in marine hulls and decks, fiberglass panels, molds, automotive and transportation parts, tanks, tubs, and other composite structures.

The material is suitable for hand lay-up and spray-up processes and is compatible with common composite resin systems including polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy, and phenolic resins. For Lantor Coremat Xi 4mm, the manufacturer lists a nominal dry weight of approximately 105 g/m² and resin uptake of approximately 2.4 kg/m².
